PlantingSeeds: Growing an Environmental NFP into a Blooming Brand
The green-fingered folks at PlantingSeeds are on a very worthy mission to protect natural environments through community-powered urban regeneration.
But as the organisation became increasingly connected with corporates and government entities, it urgently needed to show its brand some love with a fresh, professional update.
Cue a call to MIH. As nature lovers ourselves, we decided to take on this project pro bono. Biodiversity and branding…what’s not to love?

To build momentum fast, we created a brand strategy workshop template that guided the team to run their own session. Then, using insights from the workshop, we got to work refreshing the brand.
Naturally, nature needed to take centre stage. Our design team got creative with seed-based shapes, inspired illustrations, and a native flora colour palette to represent PlantingSeed’s environmental mission in a visually engaging way. The branding was extended across two sub-brands: B & B Highway & P.I. Pollinator
And when the new branding was good to go? We provided the team with everything they’d need to roll it out - including comprehensive brand guidelines, fonts, logos, and creative elements.
Fast-forward a couple of years, and we got the chance to partner with Planting Seeds again. This time, we refreshed their website, creating an online presence that’s as bright and vibrant as this spirited brand.
A thriving future for PlantingSeeds
The client adored their eco-inspired branding and refreshed website (spoiler: so did we!).
Importantly, PlantingSeeds now has a distinct, professional brand identity and site that’s fit for community-building and corporate collaborations alike.
