Postvention Australia: A Story We Wish Never Had to Be Told
More than 3000 Australians take their lives each year. Postvention Australia is a national not-for-profit that helps those bereaved by suicide, supporting people through trauma, grief, and loss.
When the Postvention team needed assistance designing an informative care pack, we wasted no time getting involved with a project we knew would have a much-needed impact.

- Brand refresh to update the Postvention Australia brand (pro bono).
- Copy and design for three related campaign initiatives.
- Media releases + social media across a three-month activity plan.
- Digital and print collateral to support multimedia distribution of assets.
PVA asked us for copy and design support for three campaign initiatives - International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day (ISOSL), NSW Post Suicide Support Services Directory, and the Bereavement Care Pack - supported by media releases and social media posts over a 12-week period.
However, there was something more pressing to take care of before we tackled these assets. PVA needed a brand refresh to enhance its outdated visual identity. And we were only too happy to offer this as a pro-bono project.
Brand refresh done, we got to work on the campaign assets, developing multimedia materials that can be shared both digitally and physically, ensuring service providers can easily help those in need of this crucial support.
With the practical “What Do I Do Now?” guide of the Care Pack and associated assets, PVA can offer a valuable framework that helps people put one foot in front of the other, even in the midst of unimaginable tragedy.

Proud to support such a worthwhile cause
This has been one of the most rewarding projects we’ve ever worked on.
Along the way, we teamed up with some amazing people. A special shoutout to Andrew and the team at Sydney Video Producers, who jumped at the chance to turn a very tiny video budget into two of the most beautiful clips we’ve seen. Their pro-bono contribution to this project was immeasurable.
The strength and honesty shared in the videos by Sandy and Sienna are truly inspiring. It has been a privilege to work on this project.
